New to this forum and need help

Hi my name is Beau, living near Edmonton. I'm restoring my first car! 62' acadian wagon! I'm at a stand still on what to do with the rear axel? Narrowed 10 bolt? can they do that? And tire and wheel sizes, would love 8" but what what back spacing? 4.5? 5.5? Any help would be great thanks!

Welcome here beaubeau.

I can't help you much with tire sizing I'm afraid. I've only ever put stock tires under an Acadian. They sure don't have much room unless you tub them.

I'm going to edit your post to expand the picture size.

Welcome beau from Canada's east coast. Looks like you have some help to put that right front fender on.

        Welcome from Ontario

The photo you posted was "before" you restored ?

Now that you are down, to choosing a rear end,   do you have other finished photos?

from steves nova site

1) 62-67 Chevy II/Nova
2) S-10 pickup (...but it's not very strong)

It's a short list.

If you want a Ferd, the list expands a bit:
3) Lincoln Versailles (bolt-in)
4) Early Bronco

i think 65 and up nova is 5 bolt on the rim
