Wanted - 69 Beaumont Front Bumper Filler

I can't seem to find one of these anywhere. My understanding is that the Chevelle bumper filler won't fit a Beaumont so no aftermarket solution seems to exist. Anyone know where I can get one? I'm in Nova Scotia but would be willing to pay for shipping for a good condition one.

Mark, not sure what you're after ?
Do you mean the "vallence" panel between the bumper and the grill area ?
Or ?

Yeah, that's what I'm after. Here's a link to the Chevelle version: http://www.classicdiscountparts.com/products.php?product=1969-Chevelle-Bumper-Filler

Maybe the Chevelle fits the Beaumont but, so far, most indications are it doesn't.

We have them, but we're in the Pacific ocean and your on the Atlantic and the post considers all items over 39 cm (36") oversized so oversize rates apply, etc, etc. Just thought somebody closer would have been able to help. Cheers d.

Do you have one that is in very good condition? If so, can you post a picture of it, let me know the price and the approximate weight and dimensions it would be after you packed it for shipping? That way I can determine how much it would cost to get here and whether or not I should rebuild the rusted out one I have.

Thanks

So you're suggesting I should just tell him to ship it and send me bill...cost be damned?

If the one Dave has is in no better shape than the one I have then it would be rather foolish, pound or penny wise, to pay a chunk of cash to get it here, don't you think? Also, there's the possibility someone closer will have one.

I was overstating it a bit by calling my current one "rusted out"...it has some areas that would need to be repaired but it's doable if I can't find a better one.

shipping buy UPS might be more expensive but still doable. i have shipped a box to the west coast a couple of years ago and the shipping was under a hundred. the box was over 6 ft and probably in the weight range of a filler panel. something to think about.

Hi Mark, being in business now for 34 years, I've made sure that I cross all the t's and dot all the i's when it comes to customer satisfaction (as member feedback reflects). We do not ship anything until the customer is aware of all condition of parts, and I prefer to talk to my customers over the phone just to be sure that both you and I are clear on the part, the condition, the price, the payment, the shipping company, the shipping address. I won't ship anything until these steps are followed. Hope that eases your mind. Plus because I'm that thorough, I offer a 100% satifaction guarantee on ALL parts that we sell, if your not happy just send it back (prepaid) for a 100% refund (within 10 days). But lets wait and see, as you mention, if someone closer has one. We currently have 2 Beaumont valances in stock right now (and about 60 Chevelles) Cheers Dave

The chevelle one is also cut and indented on the back leading edge to accomadate the hood release handle where-as the Beaumont is a straight edge as the hood release is under the header panel. If not mistaken you would need to add 10 holes some of which are ovaled and you would also need to fill some holes as they are for the headlight mounting brkts of a chevelle. d.

I have a 69 beaumont being delivered this week. I bought it site unseen for parts. I live in Thunder Bay Ontario.  If you have not found one send me an email at lenfranklin13@hotmail.com and when I get it I will let you know if it is any good.

Thanks; Len

Thanks Len but I got one from Tin Man Auto. Fast delivery and great service. I haven't seen it yet as I'm working overseas but the guys at the body shop are happy with it.
I may be talking to you about other parts as they come up, though, Len. Thanks.
