Read the last line.

Not what I'd want to be doing then...

Tough job driving up there. They just buried one of my best friends when I was growing up this past Saturday in Alberta.  He was killed in a head on with another ice road trucker in the NWT 2 weeks ago.  His son was ahead of him in another truck and had to come back later to see his dad's rig in flames.  They identified him by his dental records. Both drivers killed.  Really sad, just 60 years old and had 2 more grandchildren that had been born in the last couple months.  Spent a lot of time snowmobiling and swamping for him at the stock car track.  Hate to say how many 55 and 56 Chevy 2 doors we chopped up and put a cage in them.  Only good thing is he was at peace with his Creator.

Ready to go, nothing else matters. It's easier to go to someone's farewell when you know that. I'm sorry to hear that though. Lots of life ahead still at 60.

I couldn't help but chuckle that they want an ice road trucker and they have a slot in May. Seems a bit strange!

I think that would be a pretty short run in May.

Jerel, sorry for the loss of your friend.

Blessings my friend
