Hey everybody and Hello from the Alberta/Sask border! Glad theres a Canadian Pontiac website out there, never really checked! Been driving a '84 Parisienne for over four years and im selling it on Monday for well...another Parisienne!!! Hahaha! 1966 2 dr 327 with Black Vinyl roof. Anyways just thought I'd say hi and hope This site will help me with any questions I have. (everyone seems really cool, woot Canada!)biggrin

Well thanks everybody! Heres a few pics for you all. Im up north working ATM so this is all I really Have to show! Sorry the 84 looks so bad, Its been my daily driver for 4 years, hoping to pick up an 02 sunfire for winter next year, I dont want to drive a boat in the winter any more! Your car looks very much like a certain 66 GP that was for sale on here last fall. Same colour combo, just Parisienne vs. Grande Parisienne.

Thanks Carl. Ya i found this baby on Kijiji just outside of Vermilion Ab. Ended up paying $6000 for her. Considering the only thing seemingly wrong with her is old gas was that a fair price????

Sweet! Ok so for old gas fix: Theres about a quarter tank left. Would filling with primo and a possible cleaner do that trick? Also what do you guys recommend for a cleaner if so?

Have you already run it with the old gas? If so, then of course the carb is "polluted" too.

Either way, I'd say siphon or do whatever to take as much of the old fuel out as possible, then fill it full of fresh. One trick is to remove the hose on the the inlet side of the fuel pump, remove the fuel cap and plug the fuel filler neck with a rag, apply a with a blowgun and very low air pressure and force it out of the line at the front (into a pail or something.)

I'm not sure what cleaner there is out there to make it better.
