They quoted me 85.00 a pair. This seems higher than I thought that they would be. Has anyone bought them , and was the price on the first batch 85.00 or have they raised the price?

Ya-they were $85 a pair and I was super happy to pay that-so happy I bought 2 sets. That is cheap as far as I am concerned.I had yet to find a decent used set.I paid $375 for an NOS set of 68 clear lenses and was happy to get them.$85 a pair for brand new lenses was a bargain-come on here guys.

no

If they were still available from GM they'd be all of that, and you can bet we'd be happy to pay it!

Sorry, but I just bought huge new Genuine GM Restoration Parts "boomarang style" tailights for my '64 Pontiac, $52.00 for the pair. They have the original embossed lettering on them, and the additional silver painted area on them.

I know they are not being reproed, but for these small, simple parking lenses that's crazy money in my opinion. The guy making these is making a killing, and who knows what material they being made of. Hopefully they withstand hot/cold temps, sun's UV rays, etc. No guarantee.
