76437 was answered above (8cyl. parisienne 2 dr hardtop) the 2-1-27 if I'm not mistaken means the car was built on the second shift, January. 27. Sorry i can't help with the rest of it, there are some guys on here with the books to look up the trim code and paint codes for you. You can also get ahold of gm canada vintage documents and they will send you all the info on your vehicle including build, shipping, and purchase dates. the fee is i believe $75. I haven't ordered the one yet for my 66 but i hear it is a good package to have... lots of info.

Ya i really would like to get my hands on those docs, dont really care about the fee, Im curious about the paint code cause all i got is a 2? which from my understanding means black vinyl hood, but says nothing about body colour, which im assuming is provincial white, but I would like some verification on this

My 66 covertable is paint code C which i know is white but I'm not sure if it was called provincial white or arctic white.. I've seen both. I'm sure the guys with the books will jump on later and set us straight. in the mean time, welcime to poncho. not sure if it will help but you can see my codes on my pist "new to pincho.. need help" they wefe able to figure it out for me. I'm sure it won't be long for you. where you from?

In 1966 Pontiac paint code B = Charcoal Blue Metallic which is Dupont Dulux DUM-2113

Trim 544 ( which is the interior colour code ) = 544 = black
This was found in the 6 cyl and 8 cyl Parisiennes that were either 2 dr hdtps, 4 dr hdtps or 4 dr sedans except with bucket seats ( if bucket seats then the code changed )

I suspect it is an original white, even looking in the trunk there seems to be no signs of a repaint

I'll look in the book but I thought the paint codes used letters only in 66.

UPDATE!!!

Well upon a visit to my Car's winter hideout, a scratching off of the Paint code revealed an 'R' ! Turns out the car was Regal Red at one time which would explain the specs of red paint by the cowl plate. Why someone would repaint it white is anybody's guess, but Im gonna roll with it Till its in need of new paint, at which time back to factory!

red used to cost twice as much as white, and it hides alot that could explain the coverup
