Dash panel restoration

I just picked up a couple of 68 dash panels (not the pad but the guage cluster bezel). I am looking to repair/restore them. Does anyone know who does vaccuum metalizing in Canada? Preferrably Alberta.

Thanks in advance

There was a BC place that did them but I am thinking I heard they had quit. I don't know a name I'm afraid.

I think Lefty might know when he gets off the plane and catches up on his reading here.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to find someone in Canada because of the shipping costs, but I will check out Advanced as well. I think I will have some plastic repair work before I am ready to get it metallized. If all goes well, I will have 2 extra dash panels and 2 extra sets of guages.

im thinking it was meant for chroming plastic models, if its just edges, you can always use chrome tape, cheap.

I might try the chrome vinyl wrap if the replating cost is too high. It seems to look pretty decent and would be very inexpensive. Good news is that if you screw up, you just pull it off and start again.

Well it turns out my neighbor has a plastic chroming booth. The process is posted on youtube at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsGNWmS3WJw

I will see what the result looks like and post progress pics as I go.

I assume if this process works well that there may be some forum members interested?
