I got a call today, on a car for sale, in Goderich Ont....  

 Jim McDougall  (owns with son) Lake Huron Chrysler  

has a 1956 Pontiac Laurentian 4 door   6 cyl auto   wide whites   gorgeaous 

Was tu tone  now solid Maroon    over 30g spent on restoration  (has the receipts)    

I told him I would post it here     $12,500.00

I think a 4dr post with a 6 is going to be a tough sell at that that price,especially in todays market....

You wonder WHY anybody would have dumped that much $$$ into it in the first place...

because they like it ! I personally would rather pay $12500 for a nice restored four door than equal for a patched up wreck of a two door

agreed, 4drs are for the love of them, not for the resale, never owned ome from the 50s, but i would like to

 I'm pretty sure you could pick up a decent 56 4dr "survivor" type car for 12.5K....wuich would be WAY BETTER than a "restored" one.  JMO
