Selling my Dealer Brosure Collection-for Buster

Selling Collection I have accumlated over the years. I did not want to but 100% proceeds are going to my rescue dog Buster.

He needs dental work yesterday. He is not well no He has bad teeth and will need more than half his teeth pulled. I know, I should have financially never taken the dog in my situation. But he really gave healing after my surgery. Dogs are awesome. I did not have the heart to see him put down when I rescued him and I dont now.

Will sell lot. Or individually to highest bidder. I will mail them out as best as I can in decent envelops. I will do my best not to fold anything that isnt folded already. Ship anywhere in North America snail mail.

There is a fellow at swap meets selling some of these from $6 to $100+ each. depending on market value, desirability. I know I should post a price but I am selling to highest bidder (if Todd will allow me). I been saving these for years and my dog needs to see the vet NOW. Im sure I could do alright on sleezebay, but I am posting these here to Poncho Members 1st ! Then Ill do kijiji, I know they are not 60s cars, but ya never know.

What is it with strays and teeth? Poncho the cat had to get all his teeth removed except his front fangs. That wasn't cheap. It's funny and sad watching him try to eat grass..

I've been collecting brochures for probably close to 45 years. I don't actually need anything, in fact I have a bunch stored off-site (how useless is that?)

Animal health and their dental health are intertwined. When our daughter was a newborn we sort of missed taking our beloved old cat to the vet for checkups. Wouldn't you know, his teeth seemed to dictate his health. After the fact, we looked after them, but it cost Petie some teeth. I still wonder if that precipitated his health issues?

Listen, the fact that you are not shamelessly browbeating us, yet you have chosen to comit to giving some relief to a suffering animal makes you grade A in my books. Will you take a cash advance from my credit card? PM me.

I don't need the brochures.

very kind, But I can not accept something for nothing. But I appreciate the token kindly.
The brosures, some are worth some, some just a few bucks. I didnt put a price and just thought donations for the brosure at any amount would be fine. Pick one or two or all. State your price and mailed asap. Some I wanted to hang in garage but never gt around to it and thought Id ruin it with a staple in it. lol Im glad I kept them for today

I had a root canal 3 days before my last brain surgery (#4). The dentist, my surgeon and myself were very concerned as it was a very bad abscess tooth. Because Surgery #2 I had an infection, I was given 48 hours to live if they didnt remove(reverse the surgery) as the infection was travelling to my brain. That was my fear with Buster. He cant tell me how bad he feels. I only see it. And thank you btw. I hope he does live his reminaing time healthy and much happier

He developed infection overnight. Right eye near swollen shut. Puss running out. Sees vet at 245pm, time standing still till I get there. Tugging on heart strings.

Vet said he might get better, had to remove so much bone past teeth as it was so incredibly rotten. He was literally being eaten alive inside form the abscess. Poor little guy. Said bring him back in 3 days if eye doesnt subside.

BustersteethVet.jpeg

Busters health is up and down. In the photo you can see how rotten his teeth were. Well about 3/4 days after surgery he vomited 26x from 3am to 3pm. Large amounts. Called my amazing vet and aske for advice. he said bring him in. I said im broke after the dentist bill. He said come pick up meds. No charge. So it I did. Free.

Best vet ever. He knows Busters situation and mine. Well about week after that he was panting for 3 days straight. Wouldnt sleep. Just pant. 3am he is panting in my ear trying to sleep. Baack to the vet. Figured was side effect from pain meds. He is on pain meds, peto bismoth for dogs, arthritis meds. He been through alot vet said.

Last time I brought him in, he said that dog was near death when he first shown up here Tom. He barely 9 lbs, skin and bones, bad teeth. You never gave up on him. He is a happy 14lb dog now that is just old. You should be happy. He will always have issues but he will be a ok. I take him back Friday for a re check. I couldnt ask for a better vet.

My wife and I think about the dog. Homeless 6 months. His teeth were sheer abuse for lack of any medical attention the dog needed. Prev owner neglected him. Even if he snuck under the fence. The vet said he been sick a very long time. It puts a shiver down my back knowing  a 8lbs dog who couldnt fart his way out of a fight steered clear of racoons, skunks, large dogs, cats, etc. How many lawns did he end up on smeely, stinky, sick and hungry before mine when people turned their back on him. Pathetic.

I am nothing special to give this guy a home. He is as much family to me as my wife and son. There is nothing I wouldnt do for him as well my other dog.

The latest pic is from yesterday after his haircut. 90% white now. Slight remnits of red left from when he licked himself, He was yellow and red when we found him

Thanks for asking, much appreciated. I know Buster is well received here.
