Ya super nice car!! Needs some new clear signal lenses though.For $45 K detail like that should be a given.Ok maybe I am a little over the top-but it is a seriously beautiful car.

Nice car   most folks don't like green...    

When I was selling Chrysler products, the only GM cars we got traded, were green, as the GM dealer didn't want them  

 

I like orange myself

Why would someone do a frame off and put wrong sticker on door? and speckle tone the trunk? and use chevelle lenes?  

Is it a clone ?    

How can you even dream of showing the car at Pepple Beach....  After 45 years  you'd think they get it right...

 Me too!  That, the '68 Parisienne 427, and the local Verdoro green '68 Firebird 400 4-speed convertible that was sold at the dealership my dad worked at in the sixties (missed out on this car in the '80s dangit!).

Nice car!! I love the green, and the 4-speed. $45k seems highly decent for a car of that caliber. Shocking that Beaumont values remain relatively low given the rarity. Green will be a turn-off to most, but I like it. But I do like the weird colours in general...
What should the trunk in a '68 look like? Speckle paint is wrong? Hmm, I better start reading the resto section if I'm gonna make mine look somewhat right (although I don't care a whole lot about over the top "correctness"). I'm more familiar with '71 and '72 Chevelles currently so I'm learning every day on my '68 SD project.
