One of the boys sent me these pics after I ragged on him to get his ass in gear... At an auction north of here and he stopped bidding at $600.... Really rusty but if what is seen to be true, would have been a rare(er) one....
What is the B.S.O 372? 8 cyl?

Going well, Darryl... Been quiet with not much to say... Thanks for asking..
I considered the rust too and I summized it had to be an Ontario car early or most of it's life before it came here... There are many of those here and they are not near as rotten.. There was a small block sitting in the engine bay.
As for the $600, like all cars posted on here with prices, guess it is in the eyes of the beholder... From what "Matt" said, he was parting it... He saw something you and many others may not have, including myself...
What does 348, hard top glass, trim and other odds and ends for a '58 Parisienne go for these days? More than $600?

Some times I wake up GRUMPY, but today I let her sleep in !!!!!!!!BLACKSTOCK Ont.
I LOOKED AT A '60 LAURENTIAN 2DR HT WITH A 348 4BBL A COULPE OF YEARS AGO. IT TOO WAS BLACK AND ABOUT THE SAME CONDITION OR MAYBE WORSE THAN THIS ONE. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, THERE WAS A METAL TAG ON THE FRONT OF THE DOOR PILLAR WITH SOME NUMBERS WHICH INCLUDED AN ENGINE NUMBER. THE GM DOCS. CONFIRMED IT WAS A 348 CAR. NO RECORD OF WHICH 348 IT WAS, BUT THE 4BBL LOOKED TO BE THE ORIGINAL. BIGGEST SURPRISE WAS THE ENGINE WAS A RUNNER! I OFFERED HIM $1000 FOR THE CAR, HE WAS HOLDING FIRM @ $2000. I THOUGHT I WAS BEING GENEROUS GIVEN THE CONDITION. IT'S PROBALY STILL SITTING UNDER THAT TREE...
