1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 2 door sport coupe. 70,000 original miles. Original 307 V8 backed by original TH350, 3 speed automatic. 10 bolt non posi rear end. Power steering and power drum brakes. Documented 2 owner vehicle. Oshawa built.
Updated suspension (coil springs, shocks, upper and lower ball joints etc..). Updated brakes and wheel cylinders. New Magna Flow stainless steel dual exhaust. Newer repro Corvette 15x8 rally wheels with 225/70/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. (Have approx. 1500 miles on them).
Newer paint of original colour and new vinyl top from Year One. New soft seal weather stripping is included but not installed. All emblems and door handles on the outside of the car were replaced with NOS GM. Front grill assembly is NOS GM. Front and rear bumpers are original and still shine. The interior is original and the front seat will need to be replaced.
The car was rarely driven in winter or poor weather conditions by the original owner. The condition of the car reflects that. The under carriage is all original and clean (frame, interior floor and trunk floor). The only panel ever replaced is the lower left quarter panel due to a parking lot hit and run back in the early 1980's. The engine and trunk compartments are original (undetailed) as the day it was purchased 20+ years ago from the original owner.

I was "gung ho" to buy a 69 B-body post car... Because of issues with local body shops,
I decided to go with a A-body.... that needs "engine safety features" added...
The car is a two owner Canadian car .. 1st owner had for 22 years 2nd owner had for 22 years lol
With strong influence from other members, I bought the triple green car!
I saw it on April 10th and brought home May 9th...
I will show you the info, and of course be gone, as this site is for Pontiacs and Beaumonts and Acadians

I like it a lot! Â Even has the Argent lower paint like original. So it is a Canadian-built car?
Back around 1971 an old neighbor owned a Frost Green 1969 Malibu Sport Coupe with bucket seats & a floor shift automatic. It had a factory 350 4-barrel & a TH350 trans. It proved too tempting for a young neighbor across the street that moved into our house in 1971 and he took it for a joy ride. The owner noticed the seat moved, she was down lots of fuel, and there were numerous chips and dirt on it from blasting down gravel roads. The elderly owner knew it wasn't like that when she parked it. Hey, at least the carbon got cleared out.

You should start your own website (one that has nothing to do with cars ... I'll leave it up to you to think of something).

Nice car!! I love the colour. Have you got any upgrades planned or leave it as is (already very nice it seems). Congrats on the A-body!!! Howard Elliot Motors - wow, that is where my dad bought his '72 SS 454, back in November '71. He still owns that car, and it is incredible.

Do you know if your dads car has a emblem on the back Chrome metal or decal?
Congrats on the Chevelle purchase. Just wondering which is "Original", the 350 engine or the 307 emblems on the front fenders? Very nice car regardless. Looks to be be in almost original condition.
