Custom console for my 69 Beaumont

So I removed my bench seat the other day so it can get it  recovered.  I decided to put a set of buckets in so I could drive it around while I waited.   I installed a set of 04 GTO seats I had laying around.  Heck the color almost matches perfect.   So now that I have the buckets in I decided to put a console in. I wanted to keep the column shift where it was. That way I can put the bench back in and it will be back to stock.

I removed the console shifter and made a couple of plates to fill the holes. Painted them to match the rest of the console. I think it came out pretty good.  I purchased a Pontiac spear from a 69 headlight cover and will install it where the shifter lense was for that custom look.

Let me know what you think. I will post pics when I get the spear installed.

I like it too!!!

Assume you had to make your own mounting brackets on the seats?

As much as I don't like new seats in old cars, I gotta say that is pretty sharp!

I just finished installing the headlight emblem on my custom console. I think it came out pretty cool. Has that custom touch to it...

Tell them its a rare factory option like those SS impala three on the tree cars that came with a console and shifter block of plate.
