67 Beaumont 2 door hardtop 4 speed for sale....write off

Hey guys, had a guy offer me his 67 Beaumont 2 door hardtop with substantial body damage( car port came down on it earlier this spring) with a 327 4 speed apparently out of a 66 Vette.  What should I offer him? Drivers side roof and rear quarter panel are pretty much toast, has some rust, but looks pretty decent.  Had it running last year, but he says it needs work.  He is kinda in a panic to move it, so what do you figure a "buy it now" price would be?  He already got $5000 from his insurance.  Need to know ASAP....Thanx

Does it have buckets and console? What diff is in it? Might be worth closer to $2-3000 depending on parts and condition...

Sorry but I don't understand why the amount he got from insurance has anything to do with it. He got $xx and the car. Now he can sell the car for what he can get for it.

If the car is truly a write-off then it's worth whatever the parts are worth. Buckets & console, 4 speed, posi rear, 327, grill, door etc. could be $2000+ pretty easy, but then you'd need a place to strip it down, advertise, deal with the Kijijerks, etc. so it's worth the sum of all the parts, MINUS whatever amount you need to make it worth your time to deal with parting it out. What's your time worth?
