Carpeting change complete

Finally, after weeks of delays for several reasons I dismantled the interior, cleaned up the floor and installed new carpets. Here's what it looks like.

I got the carpeting kit from autocarpetsonline. Not only that it changed the look but the smell too!

That looks great Leo, Carpets fit good? That is a great pic of the seat, I will be able to work with that. Thanks a bunch. Let me guess the three switches under the dash, top, rear defog, and rear speaker. Feel free to post more pictures, cant see enough pics....

You got 2 out of 3 right. In order from left to right: power antenna, speaker selector, power top.

I will post more pictures not before Sunday night though.

Cheers.

Total with taxes and delivery to Montreal came to about $420.00. Full carpeting, 4 floor mats with embossed Pontiac logo and footpad. There was a less expensive and a more expensive package too, but this is what I chose because the material replicated the original.

Hey i checked out that site, did you have to go with Impala carpets and mats and just get a Pontiac Logo on them?

Both still require a lot of work.

You must be pleased. My dad has been telling me for years to replace my carpet, but have been holding off. I'm a sucker for keeping things as original as possible if it is still functional. Love to see the beauty underneath things. He thinks it needs to be replace as it's not as clean as his Camry lol. Well, of course, it's 36 years older!
