'70 Impala Sport Coupe in NB kijiji... what the???... wow!

Looks like a nice clean Impala with little crossed flags on the fenders.  The "what the..." comes when you look under the hood.

25 seems pretty fair. I'd imagine you're pretty much getting a nice car for free with the motor.

Yup, the drivetrain would add up in a hurry and if he has actual dyno sheets then theres no guessing.

Drive it like you hate it and smile.

Like the plain look and in a car that you dont see at shows.

A 70 should have a crossflow rad, not that this thing is stock....Not crazy about the gauge mountings

70 B-body Chevy's still had a top and bottom tank rad.

I've always liked the 70's. You never see many of them at shows. That engine is icing on the cake.

I've seen this car in person in Shediac, New Brunswick. Very nice. The same guy (Paul) has a many toys for sale ... a few high horsepower engines for sale also at his garage.

938 HP and 800 lb-ft of torque. So it's making peak power at over 5252 RPM... 427's always amazed me. They can turn some scary RPM's and there's a lot of mass spinning in there. When they do come apart, they often do it spectacularly.

You've got to feel sorry for those rear tires. Those piddly little things don't stand a chance. I doubt you could really use much above 400 lb-ft with those tires - even if they're sticky drag tires. It'd be fun trying to get them to hook though, wouldn't it?

sounds like your getting the car for free with a drivetrain like that. I would have a th400 cause you'll want both hands on the wheel.
