hi every one jim here wow if i did not allready have one i shure would like to own this little beauty. but i only have room in my garage for one project at a time .i got just one ? hope some one can help me . my 63 2dr ht has a chrome strip on my door panel just about 1 inch above the arm rest and it seems to have a deffrent pattern on it . so now the ? how many deffrent types of door panels did they make . i have been looking at the ones that classic industrys sells but having a hard time finding the same type as mine . any help would be greatly appreciated jim

the nova ones are not the same as acadian
the pattern would be correct if you flipped it upside down
yours should look like this
very few people will notice this

hi lefty thanks for sharing that info that might work for the frt door panles but what to do with the back seat panles . does any body sell the correct ones that i am looking for ? how many diffrent styles of door panles did they have in 63 for my car . p.s. that panle in your first pic sure is nice and just like the one i have in my car

no one sells them if we could just get the material they use before they mount it to backing it would be perfect.
you should be able to flip the backs as well.

If the material is the same as for Chevy II's I think they can make the panels for you, right down to the mylar strips.

the mylar strip was only a small piece about 1" long. you can just see it peeking out in this pic

the holes for the arm rests were cut in the backing plate just not in the vinyl .
the chrome was from a 65 (got from Menno) and is a hard piece like the top and bottom trim. It was the only thing i could find.
would love to get the mylar "on a roll"

thanks brian i will give them a look hope they can help me . i was realy looking forward to having something close to oridginal . although the 65 nova ones do look nice . is that a hard chrome pc that you put on your self lefty or does it come with a mylar strip and how do you cut out the holes for the handles and arm rest

yes the mylar would be nice . but you using the top or bottom pcs of chrome sure was smart of you. i am going to do the same . how did you attach them when i am done painting my car in the next 4 weeks or so. i am going to list some of my extra stuff that i have accumilated over the years . what year and model nova did you use for your door panels they do look good . is any body making those top end caps on the leading edge of the back window

there are pins on the chrome that stick through the door panels then fold .
the door panels are 63 nova.
