And speaking of that, coffee next week maybe? I think I'll start a new thread to see if anyone's interested. If not, you and I will go ourselves!

Yes, it is the white 396 4 speed from Sask.

A few months back our daughter (who was supposed to get my 65 Acadian when she turns 21 in a few years) came to me and said she would rather have a Firebird convertible when the time comes. I had promised her a car and as much as she has always thought the Acadian is cool, likes the idea of a drop top 'Bird more.

The opportunity to move the Acadian along arose and the rest is history. I delayed the unveiling for a while because there were some serious speed bumps along the way with all of this moving cars around but it finally appears to be all in place.

I'll reserve commenting on the new owner/location for the Acadian because I don't want to steal his thunder. I think you will see him on here though when the time is right.

And now I really have space issues. That Acadian parking spot was fine for it but this thing is taking up a LOT more room!

Thanks, I haven't even had a chance to safety and enjoy it yet. I did buy a permit to drive it the 7 miles home from where it was unloaded and it was fun driving a big block stick GP again, I must say.

Memories........

My kids both LOVE the white interior and the dash in it!

Under the blanket you mean?

No, I get tired of stuff getting so dusty in my garage (from just sitting there, since I never seem to work in there in the summer!) so I started covering stuff up.

The ratchet straps in the box were on sale for 1/2 price at Princess Auto today...

Hope to get an up close look at it on some future coffee meeting. Will you be adding a few options to this one ?

Million dollar question.

I have two 4 speed GP's at this point.

About 2 years from now, I need to be down to one GP. No question, that one GP will be a MK IV and a Muncie, but which car???

Which one do I keep? Do I put all the options in the one I keep? I have some overlap of options (i.e. could add the same option to both cars) so do I build them both up and sell one?

My mind just goes in circles when I start wondering what to do!!!

I can't, no plates, I didn't do the safety on it yet. Too much leisure-cabin time and not enough car time! Oh, wait, that's not all bad..................!
