removing dents in doors

Ball hammer it back in along the side working inwards?

Edit: Got a quote from some autobody "expert". It would cost upwards around $600 for a professional to do. Just for the door.

What's the best course of action? Or should I just get a new door?

Impossible to tell from that photo but it doesn't look like anything too tough to deal with. A competent bodyman should be able to knock that back into shape in short order. I'm only seeing small areas where it may be stretched and none of those look deep enough to worry about.

Looks like an easy fix.

Since the paint looks broken and its going to need repainting then any decent bodyman should be able to straighten it out.
If the paint wasn't broken and you were trying to save it then a good paintless dent repaiman would be in order.
