their putting them up all around the great lakes - company opening a factory in Welland this fall (Repower industries) another one in Thorold in the old Dana frame plant building the towers ( they were in the news with an industrial accident a couple weeks ago)

Same with solar panels - going up everywhere - looking for investors

that said I wouldn't sell my cars for it !

probably a fad but thats what I thought about computers in the early 80's !

I have a dealer locally, who will take them in, for cheap, on a high mile Diesel truck

 maybe check that out

thanks

Are you really selling, Carl?

I can't afford it, but I will say that's one pretty Chevelle - even nicer since you've put your midas touch on it!

I find there are lots of vintage cars selling. I have sold 4 so far this year. All of the cars i inquired about in Ontario were sold before i got there and i had to fly home. The right stuff at the right price still changes hands. So if you are serious about selling i am sure there are buyers out there. Just need a good wind to blow them your way.

Those are all great reasons Carl, and you should have no problem selling a nice car like that.

I think the market is out there for good quality cars.  The problem these days is that there is still a lot of junk for sale out there at Barrett Jackson prices.  That stuff tends to stay for sale for a loooong time, however.

Mine are as nice as you can get.... in that price range...

I just hate the thoughts of advertising them and going through the  wanna bes...

I  will see    got a couple big shows coming up   Bothwell and  Zurich    might try them

or just wait

They are both in storage  and its paid up to next year..

where you going to find a 69 Chevelle anyway ?  and a Corvette C5 under 20g      Just wonderin    thanks

Actually  I was talking to my friend Andrew  (today)

Remember he put a Cummings in a Ford crew cab ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oizt2IiGPY0

I think the Malibu would be a good car for a  Diesel    since everyone wants a SS 396

Mr. Hicks,

This is sad news...... You have enough WIND, you do not need any more.

PLEASE do not let the next new owner ruin that beautiful '69 Chevelle.

Best of Luck my friend,

Dan

Thanks Dan     that was just a story (wink)  to see if there was any interest    (and there is some)

If  my buddy  67BBSD can find me a truck for my grandson and take the Vette on trade...

then I will keep the Chevelle

at first I had lost interest in converting it to a big block 4 speed, and lost interest in old cars.....

After I finally got my throyid meds adjusted  (again for the 3rd year)

and after I started working on Andrews 49 3100 from Colerado and after doing some work to the Chevelle, and getting keen to finish up my V8 S10

I might follow through and increase the safety of the Chevelle by adding more horsepower

or I may sell everything and go back to bed

That how my days go  lol
