I love that 4 door hardtop!!! I amnot too wild about the 2 door but each car shows a lot of work, attention and love and that is nice to see regardless of wheter one approves of the stance of the car or not. I just prefer the stock look but the cars are indeed nice.
With all due respect to those who do, I don't care much at all for the chopped and dropped look but to each his own. The '66 Pontiacs are truly the best offering from The Chief in the sixties IMHO. I have a Grande Parisienne 4 door hardtop but what I'd really like is a Parieienne 4 door hardtop. These cars do have a following but they are under rated as far as I am concerned and so many of them were scrapped just for the engines. Sad... so sad.

Yes, there was a time when those cars were plentiful and cheap. Lots of them ended up donating powerplants for Chevelles and Camaros because of that.

Carl, your tastes truly reflect those of yours truly but I look at it as to each his own. I am a "stocker" and I don't like most of the new trends today nor do I like what the hobby has turned into for many old car owners but that red car is definitely better off than were it sitting somewhere rotting away, I guess. I fail to see anything attractive or nice about floor boards and frame rails scraping the asphalt or wheels that are grossly out of proportion with the size of the car that they are on, but at least the vehicles are still around and being enjoyed. Without a doubt in my mind, the four door hardtop is the nicer car of the two but that is just because of what I personally like and appreciate. Radical customizing and paint jobs, flames never ( in my eyes anyways ) enhance the appearance of a car - these things more often than not IMHO rob the car of it's identity and more often than not detract from it's beauty. There are things that can be done that do make a car more attractive but those are usually more subtle things as opposed to big whees and rubber band tires. But then the world would be a pretty dull place if we all liked the same things, wouldn't it? If I am at a car show and I see something that has been heavily modified, I usually just walk right on by and treat my tired old yes to something that appeals to me - like the pretty girl standing by that bright red '59 Parisienne convertible. *grins*Just my opinion for what it's worth.
