Wow sweet car     add about 20,000 worth of restoration and you have a nice 15,000 car at auction  

Hmm.. one could go two ways with this one. It's solid enough to bring back to stock condition or install the diamond tuft interior, straight axle it, install a hillborn injected big block with an M22, put on a set of Radir wheels and give it a mid 70's Street Freak paint job!

 I agree with that as well; most of us never really want to do the calculations of what cars actually cost us compared to what we get for them. (What we get out of them is a lot harder to measure but is the real value.) I know I don't add up my receipts any more to keep track of costs.  There are only three ways to make money at old cars.  Flipping them without doing much work on them, being the dealer/auctioneer or running a pro shop where you attract people with great big wallets and not much car knowledge.

My opinion for whats its worth.

 that was harsh! this car is better than it looks, i have not started to clean it up, the parts missing are: radio,motor, trans.... just thought i would put it out there for sale. the diamond tuft interior was done in the early 80's and never installed. 

i also bought a 68 parisienne 2+2 ragtop 396,th400, tilt, pw, ps, p seat, buckets /console, skirts, etc.  that was in the same barn, that will be for sale also, just got it running and will clean it up...watch for it in the for sale posts
