That model is a 1997 Z28  30th  anniversary camaro convertible.  I have the same car in florida but not a convertible. We get a lot of comments on it because of the paint scheme and have won some trophies with it at some smaller car shows. The one I have  has 60,000 miles and is all original with the LTI automatic and 2:73 rear diff. really peppy and gets great gas mileage on the highway.

I loved my 69 Z28 with orange (original color) and white stripes  (owned it in 79-80 and 84-85)

I added cowl and stripes to my 2500HD along with 07 front and Denali headlights (truck is a 2001) and it "made" the truck

So I figure a LS7 (427carl) 2000 Z28 with orange stripes would be a cool mate to truck   505 HP LS7 only get 25mpg cry

here is my daughter beside my 69 in 85 and my 2010 in 2010

Both really beautiful cars and a beautiful daughter with a great smile. I really like my 97 but it gets a little harder every year to get in and out of. May sell it this winter in Florida and find a full size car like your Chevelle.

I found the Corvette a little low for this old guy   The Camaro is better (for me)    Camaro has back seat for grand kids
