12 bolt Moser axles, BRAND NEW, 67 or older Acadian or Nova

In about 1991 I bought all the goodies to build a stock appearing 12 bolt for a 62-67 Acadian or Nova. That project never happened and I no longer own a first or second generation Acadian or Nova.

These axles have been sitting on the shelf the whole time. I've never even cut the tape that was put on them to ship them to me. I don't even know for sure but I am betting that these are stronger axles than a stock GM axle would be for this application. Back in those days, I called Greg Moser himself to order these and he did not ask me what strength I wanted. As I recall, all he needed to know was the application.

On the Moser website today, stock axles for this application cost $260 US per pair.

I would like to get $225 for these plus actual shipping costs.

28 27/64"

They are 1 5/64" shorter than the axle for 68-71 Nova/65-67 Chevelle.

I realized after I ran the ad I also have the ends cut off a 12 bolt housing that I will include in the deal if you want them Gary.

One bump up for these. Then I'm not sure. I'm not a big fan of ebay but there are no good to me. They need a new home.

Might want to try steves site before ebay.... if you had a housing with 3.07 gears and a posi to go with the axles I'd be tempted. smile

New stock width Nova housing from Moser is about $800, lots of centre sections around new. Just pull the trigger!

Bump up for these. Great to have as spares if you have an original Nova/Acadian with a 12 bolt, since you can't buy GM axles any more.

I'm thinking I will do that but I have some serious loyalty to Canadian Poncho first! This place has been VERY good to me and I want to make sure I do my best to return the favour.

My thought with these is it's even smart for someone with an original 65-67 Nova 12 bolt to buy these for spares. Chances of finding new or used GM axles is slim and none for that diff.

I'm thinking mail may be almost as cheap as bus. Likely about $35-$40 I would guess?
