What diff oil and manual trans oil in '61?

Hello all. The subject is a '61 Pontiac with the original 3-on-tree manual trans and original open rear end (at least I think it's an open rear end without any 'posi'-trac type of apparatus). What oil brand/weight/type would you guys recommend in each?

I think your standard 80w90 gear oil will suffice in both the transmission & differential.

Thanks for the info. Now, any ideas on the capacities of each (or combined capacity since same oil is to be used) so I don't end up buying a drum of the stuff when all I need is 4 liters? :)
