Yes it is a 283. I have read all of your posts and have decided I will look into redoing the interior and not touch the rest of the car.  I will contact Legendary and see what they can do. I still have one of the original door panels so they can hopefully match up the colour and the unique silver strip it has on the front door panels. Another question I have is can anyone recommend a supplier of a fuel tank sending unit. I sometimes get in inaccurate reading.

I believe that someone was reproducing the 66 Beaumont panels (perhaps minus the silver strip)? Let us know how you make out with the manufacturer.
PS If the rear seat skin is original, I believe that it was Legendary that was looking for one at one point. (Convertible version.)
