Where to buy a turn signal switch for my 67 Beaumont

Does anyone know where I can buy a turn signal switch for my Beaumont.  It's a column shift power glide.

Thanks!

Mike.

Depends which switch you have "1967/AT Column Shift - Delco Type - White Plastic with Brown Connector P/N 7800483"

1967-68 AT Column Shift Exc Tilt Wheel - Boyne Type - Blue Plastic with Black Connector P/N 5699993.

Both are discontinued from GM but I do see some on Ebay, the description above is from the parts book and the colors would have been from original equipment, the replacement may have different colors. You may get the p/n's crossed at NAPA??

Good Luck

Gerry P

a buddy of mine just went through this,  Ebay was the best source, as Gerry pointed out , there are 2 styles of switches , the Boyne is more expensive, and mostly found on the American built cars... IE.. GTO

Thanks Guys. Unfortunately my Beaumont has the Boyne switch. I was reading that the Delco switch can be used with minor modifications so I'm going to look into that. The Delco switch is like only 40 bucks. Will keep you posted on how my mod turns out.
Thanks,
Mike.

I think you can find the Boyne on ebay for $80.. my buddy did the same research, just ended up buying the correct switch.

I have a 68 Beau column shift steering column as a spare, if it has the correct switch you can have it for $25 plus shipping if you want it, I'm located in NB. No signal arm, just the switch.

The Boyne switch is available aftermarket. I had to get one for my car 9 or 10 years ago. At the time it was not available. The only options were try to find a good used one or buy a NOS one. NOS were selling for $250 to $300. I got lucky and found one for $150. The Boyne switch that you need also fits the 1967-68 Corvette and , I think, Corvair. It may also fit other GM cars.

I'm pretty sure the turn signal lever won't work with the Delco switch. I tried that when I replaced mine.

Thanks for the tip on the switch listed on ebay! I notice that the switch is for a car with corner lights but it will work for a non-marker light car! Something to mention is that on the Clark's Corvair site they sell the nylon piece that breaks for the Boyne switch - part #C4665. Another alternative!
Thanks,
Mike.

Not trying to take any business away from NOS but my experience with my 64 and replacing my switch with an after market one is it only lasted a couple summers. I have since replaced it with one from a car I parted out and it has a very noticeable solid difference. If you can find a used one that is the route I would go.
