Very nice car im starting to like those more and more, guess because you never see them at any shows etc.Lot of those just rusted to oblivion. It is truly a time capsule and wouldnt need alot to make her reliable.

Looks good.  Would that be a Pontiac 400 in it?

I am thinking it could even be a 455 in 76? Or maybe 75 was it for them in a GP...

I'm thinking he meant to say low ballers.

A friend of mine has an identical coloured '75 to this one with a 455.

My father had one the same as this one including the colour scheme. Nice cars, but there are miles of red plastic inside. If/when it fades, shrinks or cracks, it'd be a nightmare trying to find a replacement piece, and then the degree of fading would never match.
I guess the same can be said for almost all cars newer than about 1974. Shame.

The SJ trim level means it came standard with the Pontiac 400. You could specify the 455 as an option - 1976 was the final year of production for the 455.

This particular one looks to be in great condition, and I'd believe the low mileage based on engine bay and interior. Looks to have been garaged so most of the interior should be decent, but the plastic seat backs likely have some wear - they mark up easily. A can of SEM oxblood should address that, for $15. The real win here is the dashpad with no cracks. It's a pretty fair price, but check for rust under the vinyl - see the trunk pic.

I'm partial to white Pontiacs myself...
