Hello everyone. I am new to this site. I own a 1962 Pontiac Parisienne convertible which I recently found this summer. I had a 62  4 door 261 standard in my early days. It was a great car and I loved it. I couldn't believe my luck in finding this car. It was originally Honduras Maroon but is now 2002 Ford Lazer Red. The interior is original other than the carpet and is in great condition. It has its original 283 in it but now sports an edelbrock 600 cfm carb., manifold, & headers. The powerglide has been replaced with a turbo 350. In tracing its history I recently confirmed that Harry Dickson of Dickson Motors (Winnipeg) ordered it new for his wife. It was built on Oct. 31,1961 and shipped to him on Nov.3,1961. The engine compression is down on all cyl.'s and quite low on 2 cyl'.s. It is coming out this spring.   It still, however, runs well. My other 2 vehicles are a 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle conv. (my bride's car), and a 1926 Model T Coupe.
