Yes, and the spear is definately different (and not reproduced). It is longer than that of the Chevelle.

For a car as nice as yours.... absolutely rechrome the original!  (It is longer and has a smoother transition than that of the Chevelle.)

 Hey !!!!!!!!! thats the first picture I've seen with the bumper guards !!!!!!!!! looks great !!!!!!!!! I was saving them for Jack's car - but I won't be getting it anyway - glad they have a good home !

I did not know that the hood spear was different than a Chevelle. 

I was planning on ordering a new one this winter  - so I guess I have to get my old one rechromed?

Thanks, I will rechrome it.

I also wanted to replace my rocker mouldings - 47 years or rock chips have taken their toll.

Are the Custom mouldings the same as Sport Deluxe?  and are they the same as any Chevelle?

Not sure if the SD are the same as the Custom, but the SD are different from the Chevelle (although I believe the Chevelle will fit). We'll see if anyone else chimes in with a more definative answer.
