Hey everyone.

I know a lot of you knew my uncle Frank Argyle, or as he was called on here- 69-Tin Indian's.

After a brave and courageous battle with cancer that began June 2, 2012, my Uncle Frank passed away earlier on this year on May 14, 2013.
For those that knew him, knew that he was a kind hearted man that always had a story to tell, and was always quick with a joke.
He loved 3 things most in life. His wife, his pepsi, and his cars. Or as he called them "his toys"
He was a big fan of The Beatles, and could answer any questions you could ever think of about them.
Our big plans were to fully restore the 1969 Pontiac Convertible. Although time was cut short on us doing it together, I promised him that I would make sure that I got it done for the both of us, and I know that when I do, he'll be riding right there beside me.

The reason I'm making this post is to let everyone on here that knew him know, and also, for those of you that knew Frank, maybe even share a story or two about him.

Thanks everyone, and god bless.

- John

Welcome to the site John. I was lucky enough to meet Frank a few years ago and see his 69 Pontiac. We truly miss his presence on here. Let us know if there's anything we can do to assist you in the restoration of Frank's car.

Todd

Your uncle Frank and I exchanged a lot of messages and shared some stories of our faith walks with each other.

His wit and wisdom were both very much appreciated here, and I know I say that not only from one Canadian Poncho member but many.

And none of us forget his avatar here, he picked one of the best!

Although I never met Frank, I enjoyed his posts and PMs.

Funny, I was thinking of him and I left a little tribute on his CP whiteboard a week ago: http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/m1022248/profile/

Besides Pontiacs Frank knew my affection for Cadillacs. On a number of occasions I was the recipient of his random acts of kindness when parcels would show up at my door, Cadillac wheel discs, Cadillac crests, Cadillac brochures. We have been  strengthened by his courage and kindness.

Sorry to hear of a member's passing. My condolences.

Sadly I'm aware of a great many in my general age group who have passed away in the past 4 years, and others who have had serious health struggles. It makes you appreciate what you have and also to strive to live a full life.

Yes, my Uncle left me the 1961 GMC, along with the 1969 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible, 1969 Pontiac Grande Parisienne Hardtop,
and a garage full of parts and tools that will help me fix them.

Can not wait to get started on them!

While it's a sad story, it's an exciting inheritance!
