1960 Pontiac heatercore

Hi guys

Im searching for a heater core for my 1960 Pontiac Laurentian, 6 cylinder.

The previous owner has removed it so I dont know what to look for.

Can someone help me with at link to a dealer or maybe to an item on ebay thanks.

I'm going to assume that the 1960 Chevrolet and the 1960 Canadian Pontiac used the same

heater core (everything else mechanically seems to be) ......you missed out on this one on ebay, but I would copy the pictures (good views) onto your computer

so you know what it looks like when one does appear and you don't know if it's the right one.

Hope this helps you a little bit.

I know that '64 Canadian Pontiacs use a '64 Impala one.

Non AC cars take different cores than the AC equipped cars also.

If it's any help, 3144756 is the original GM number for your heater core. It is the same from 59-60 Parisienne and 59-60 full size Chevy. I did not think to check if the US Pontiacs use the same one. I will try to do that later.

Roblins Garage inventory list has a half dozen or so 59-60 Chev Pontiacs etc. You might be able to get a used one then have it re-cored since the rebuilt ones that I have seen for sale are in the $195 to $260 range.

I have 2. The one in my car, and the one out of a parts car we scrapped. Had them both tested and one is good, the other leaks at the valve connection. Yes, I believe they are the same for the 59-60 Chevs

Roblins listing is from the 90's and hasn't been updated for probably 15 years... ....not much left and certainly very few of the cars on the list.

I went to yard two years ago...took pictures...not much worth taking.
