The official thread derailing thread.

Hard to believe, all of us have been trying to kill dandelions for decades........maybe now we'll get rid of the grass instead.

He did say he worked hard for the people of Toronto....and now we find out he was working extra hard on the night shift. That's true dedication for the folks of Toronto.

Since a lot of us tend to derail threads (I'm just a guilty) I thought I'd start a thread where going off on a tangent is not only allowed, it's expected!

Got something off topic (and clean) to talk about? Post it here. Just don't expect us to follow that topic for more than a post or two. biggrin

I'll start.

Today I talked to a fellow who was rear ended by another driver who happened to be distracted reading a "drive safely sign" that was just erected. Ain't irony ironic?

I don't know what to say. I'm not used to derailing a thread. I'm speechless...

Why do they have those signs along the road that say 'Large trucks need more room'?

Talking about religion....wha?

I didn't know that Alberta is the "only province in the country where the saying of the Lord"s prayer is guaranteed under the School Act"

and that there are schools here in Alberta saying it daily in November of  2013..........well, for a little while longer anyway...,,,here's the story.

Maybe someone from Toronto can answer this...how, or I should say why, is Rob Ford still the Mayor?

Us on the west coast (and probably everywhere in the world) look at the situation with disbelief and humour.

I must say Todd, this is kind of boring. I much prefer derailing threads that weren't meant to be derailed. Nobody gets all bent out of shape when I derail this one...

Well, except Johnnee.....

The guy in back who hit the fellow I was talking to. The guy who was hit was driving a full sized GMC work van. The impact caused the sides of the van to crinkle.

Can you use American body panels to repair the van or do they need to be Canadian? confuse
