Connie's Toyota is 10 years old. For 9 years we've only really done regular maintenance (other than a water pump). The car has been on PEI a year and I've had both front wheel bearings fail due to the road conditions. The paint was near mint. Not anymore!
Here's my passenger rear rocker in front of the back wheels. That's primer folks!
Luckily this part is plastic:
They primarily use sand in my area of the island. I looked at the car on the hoist and the underneath is pretty much sandblasted. Now I know why cars are rotted in such a short period of time here! This has to be one of the worse climates in Canada for cars. So, once I fix the paint I'll be investing in mudguards and applying a good dose of oil spray to the underneath before next winter!
sorry carl its sunny and 16 here today got the wifes 67 nova out gettin brakes and the bb monte is tearin up the streets, at least i see no boat in that pic
It surprises me at times that we live in the same country as there is such a difference from area to area. I won't post a picture of what our back yard looks like but the motorcycles and convertibles are enjoying it. I have been wearing shorts for awhile at work and it is my favorite time of year.
My favourite time of year too, just for some reason we're in a rut right now.
No worries Jerel, I'm not one to be down just because it's not summer. I still love the 4 distinct seasons here, I wouldn't want to give them up. Yesterday was only about 4 outside but it felt beautiful, I was out in the yard a lot of the day.
The flakes right now are monsters, it's just beautiful watching them, there's very little wind in our yard. It helps to be looking out my $9000 worth of new windows that were installed this week.....
