My 67 acadian sport deluxe

DSC_0250.JPGWell finally getting around to putting up some pics as life has been getting in the way. I joined a while back for the simple reason that I could tap into you folks that have some restoring experience to help me get this gem back on the road.  I  bought this little beauty from a good friend of mine who like others ,had good intentions of bringing it back to life. I haven't  done a restore for a number of years, but soon as my shop is done, I plan to put this as priority 1. These pictures are as it sits right now. The fella before him tried to do lower quarters and screwed up when he mixed his filler with to much hardener I suspect.  I plan to put it on a rotisary and do the major full rear quarters mini tubs and a TCI suspension front and back(or another possible option). I am on the fence right now as to what power to put into it. I have big blocks small blocks kicking around that I would like to attach a 5 or 6speed manual to. I have a 267 turbo 350  that came with it. I am thinking about having a fast cruiser that I can drive from show to show or taking my wife out for ice-cream on a Sunday afternoon. Wish me luck

Welcome here.

I don't think I've ever seen the 67 Nova style fenders on an Acadian with the Acadian grille installed. I would have guessed it wouldn't fit.

Are you planning to change to the Acadian fenders?
