Still pluggin away on the 49.So the other week I came across a set of 49 Pontiac full hubcaps and thought geez those might look nice on my car.Mine has the factory pie pan caps.So I get them the other day and they don"t fit. Both are 15 inch wheels but the full hubcaps have these weird spacers on the back where my wheels have the tabs for the pie pans.Is there a difference between the wheels used in the us and Canada?Even if I removed the centers with the three slots i'm not sure if the ring would fit inside the bolt pattern of mine.Is there some sort of factory spacer or something i'm missing?I guess if nothing else their good wall hangers.Anyone?
Our Canadian Pontiac use the chevy frame, and all the acc. to go with it like wheels (outside the engine as well). I made the same mistake some years ago. Our Pontiac wheel cover are genuine Canadian Pontiac parts, they are scares to find in good condition. If you can get some get it! Your dog dish cap are the same as chevy for the Inside part, but built with a Canadian Pontiac chrome cover on it.

I guess I fell for it too- I've got a full set of those babies for birdbaths now. The 'dogdish' OEM's come up occasionally on Ebay.
Now I'll be collecting a few spares thanks to this post!
