Is it me or does 1 collector look 2 1é2`` and 1 look 3 in the pic. Might have to pull them out of the box
Luckily I understand French. Ya, one does look bigger (on the left) than the other.

Thanks guys, I took the headers out of the box, just my shitty photography. Yup, no turning back now Rog but will be worth the pain when cruising down the highway.
With the motor out I figured I might as well get the rest of the stuff done. Going power brakes and Cpp power steering box which means I have to modify the column tube. What I cut off the column I can always weld back on. Didn't want to sacrifice the box so I found a steering shaft out of a 70 C10 that will work. Think most of the 60's and early 70's cars/trucks were 3/4 shaft with no master spline. Picked up a couple of bearings from Princess auto, so far 25 bucks.
Stock column Remove steering wheel and adjacent parts, measure from top of tube to top of spline. You will need this for your next
New shaft slid in tube with stock measurement New support bearing for end of shaft
Dummy bracket to get angle Slice in tube to clamp down on bearing
New support bracket for steering tube, Made an oblong hole so I could adjust to get column Factory firewall bracket with tube bracket
centered in the whole and another whole to keep from moving side to side. ( you get the idea)
Bearing in end of shaft. Inner race of bearing is held to shaft by set screws and outer race is held by clamp on firewall thus not allowing shaft to move forward or aft. Think it took longer to post than make.
Will double d end of shaft once I get steering box and rag joint. Don't have a milling machine but do have a drill press with a milling bit and cross feed vise. Hope it works!
Im sure the wife cant wait till you get er done,
then you have to do some rd. trips.

Didn't like the look of the ugly black coil packs so I thought I would tune them up a bit. Removed coils from holders by slightly bending the holding arms. Painted the same color as firewall, also cleaned up starter and PS pump. Hanging by fire to dry...... I'll tell my wife I'm making next years Christmas decorations.
You let me know how that works out for you Jim.I might try it on the wife.
Except i'll have to hang my stuff over the stove.Dont have a fireplace.lol

Thanks Roger, I sure like it better than black!! Started on my brakes and look what I found over at dads while looking for load spreaders for George., a T block. Not on the web but in a back yard!! Making up a booster bracket out of some stainless I got from a customer ( shiny stuff for free) using a 90's S15 booster with a 70's pb master. Just have to fine tune and polish.
