After years of joint ownership with a fellow that want to keep the 55 stock, stock stock. (which was crazy as the original 265 block was swapped out). I was final able to take full possesion and have started preparing for the upgrades.
First order is a complete front disk brake system, incuding power master cylinder (already on order). Then the CPP 500 power steering box and mast jacket replacement, definetly before spring. Also have a set of NOS balljoints etc that would be better on the car. Still running the originals!
Minor tweaks include a 1 inch phenol spacer to get ride of that ethanol fuel perculation issue, also carb rebuild. My son is pumped to get going on it.
LS-9 might have to wait a year or two.
In my ideal world someone would have a very noce tp perfect driver's side front fender. Mine had been hit the past, the poor repair was rusted and although it looks presentable I know it has the evil putty in there under the light. (that's a hint for those with some spare parts).

I have for sale two front fenders for a 1955 Pontiac. The drivers side is extremely nice - as in no rot around or under the headlight area, and bottom corner solid as well. The passenger side is bent to hell in the lower rear area, but is rust free as well and could be used as a patch for the headlight area. Also includes inner fenders. The one fender alone will save you lots of hours on bodywork. Priced at $250 for both or 200 for the minty one by itself.
