Door Panels and Trim

A couple of questions for you guys. Is the logo that's on the glove box for a 1966 SD Beaumont the same as what is on the interior door trim?  Also, I see that replacement door panels are available from Dales. Has anyone ordered any? How's the fit and finish? Where would you source the Mylar trim strips from?

THE TRUNK LID AND GLOVE BOX EMBLEMS ARE THE SAME!

THE DOOR PANEL EMBLEMS ARE THE SAME AS THE FRONT FENDER EMBLEMS!

AND AS FAR AS I KNOW YOU CAN'T GET THE DOOR PANELS WITH THE MYLAR STRIP ON THEM YET(REPRODUCTION)!!!DON'T KNOW WHY THEY DON'T AS THEY DO REPRODUCE THAT CHROME MYLAR ON 66' CHEVELLE PANELS??

SO THOSE PANELS ARE 100% CORRECT FOR THE 66' TEMPEST AS THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE CHROME MYLAR STRIP ON THEM!!! BUT, SAME PANEL TEXTURE AS A BEAUMONT JUST NO MYLAR STRIP!!!

I DO BELIEVE IT IS JUST HEAT MELTED TO THE PANEL WHEN THEY HEAT STAMP THE TEXTURES???

I HAVE LOOKED INTO OTHER WAYS OF DOING THE MYLAR STRIPING MYSELF BUT HAVN'T FOUND ANY GOOD SUGGESTIONS ON THE WEB THAT WORK'S 100%???

I HAVE THOUGHT OF CHROME VINYL LIKE FOR LETTERING THAT SIGN SHOPS USE BUT DON'T THINK IT WILL WORK 100% UNLESS YOU COULD GLUE IT ON FOR LONG TERM???

LMK, IF YOU FIND ANY GOOD IDEAS YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY????

Awesome...thanks for the info! The fender louvers and V8 emblems that I ordered from Dales for my 66 look great. Look forward to any tips as to how to apply the trim strip.

The door panel and front fender emblems look the same but have a different mounting system, the front fender emblems have two studs around 3/16", the door panel emblems have three smaller diameter pegs...

The body is exactly the same, the pins are about a 1/4 to 5/16 longer so I'm unsure if the fender ones will fit. I thought the interior ones would be great replacements for the fenders because they had not been exposed to the elements....

Right on. I might have to get hold of Tinman and see what he has got kicking around  or order a set from Dales and modify the pins to work for the door.  Unless anybody else out there has the door panel enblems and wants to sell?
