scan0002.jpg001.JPGGreetings My name Barry. Been cruising the sight for some time and desided to sign on. I have grown up in a Pontiac family and still is going strong today. I have a few 1965 Lemans-GTO's, 80 Trans Am conv., and in the process of restoring a 74 Trans Am. Always had a soft spot for the Canadian built Poncho's with the big blocks as that was what I grew up with and am happy to see through this sight there are many survivers. The last Canadian Poncho I had was a 60 that came from Calgary. A friend brought it back east, did a frame off, painted it and I bought it as a roller, installed a 348 tri-pwr, 4-speed, wheels, but had to sell to fund another project. Here are couple of pics of what i have had and have today. Barry

I love 65 GTOs plus that 60 looked cool. That 80 convertible has to be pretty rare. I remember Southern Ontario dealers selling those conversion cars brand new. At that time we though convertibles were never coming back.

Thanks for the welcome. Ken's suggestion of bringing my son Darrell aboard is a good one. He leans more toward the G&F body cars but his latest project is a 1959 Pontiac SW. In the fall he got it off the rotisserie and back on the frame and its on hold untill the summer. It makes a great looking wagon. Barry
