I thought I'd say Hi and introduce myself, I'm a newbie from Calgary.

I recently purchased some parts for my 57 Laurentian off of Kijiji from Longstroke, a member on this forum.  I had a chance to talk on the phone with George and wanted tell everyone that he was very pleasant to deal with and I recieved my parts very quickly from Ontario.  It was George who suggested I join the forum.

I bought my 57 a couple of years ago and have been slowly working on it. Not doing a full-on restoration, just fixing and repairing to make it a reliable driver, hopefully by this spring (which at the rate we are going won't be until July in Calgary...)

That's all for now.  I don't have much in the way of pictures of my ride, but will post something when I blow the dust off it this spring.

Hi, I thought I'd post a few pictures of my ride like I promised to do when I signed up on the forum.  It took all spring and summer to get the bugs worked out of her and after a bunch of trips further and further from home, I decided to take a trip to Vancouver Island on the September long weekend.

Me and my faithful travel companion made it there and back, putting on about 1400 miles in the process.  Not bad for a 57 year old car.

To me, a 57 Canadian Pontiac convertible is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
