Lost my brakes today...holy chit!


Hey guys need a bit of help.. Is there a reservoir on my 53 pathfinder? I took a quick peek and didn't see one,
Thanks I'm going back to the car to investigate further . It was in storage for the winter ..

It (the master cylinder) is probably under the floorboards on a 53. That's where it was on my 54 Chevy. You may also have a brake line or wheel cylinder leaking. Best to pull all 4 wheels and have a look.

......just follow the brake pedal linkage and it will take you there.

Just like in 54 it was under the drivers floor on the 53s. Almost dead center of the drivers footwell. Should be about a 3" diameter heavy rubber plug in the floor board that allows access to the plug on the top of it.
