Cheap 1976 Pontiac LeMans. Welland, Ont

Body looks good. Judging by the 1973 plates it must have been senior owned.

Ken, this might be close to you. Throw some rally wheels on it and she wouldn't look too bad!

Hopefully it's just bad springs causing it to sit that low!

We had a 76 Grand LeMans, beautiful car, Bavarian Cream with saddle landau and interior, 15" Rally II wheels, tinted  windows and a orange 350 of course.

In 1976 the long window cars were not offered by Pontiac and even the base LeMans got the formal rear quarter window treatment. This one is very basic about all I see as options are the wheel covers, colour keys seat belts and the 350 auto. Sure looks solid though.

If it's solid, there's $1000 of quarters and fenders there, plus a $400 350/TH350. I haven't even factored in all the Firethorn Red interior trim, door panels... all pure gold to the Can Am guys.

Nice representative of Canadian Ponchos in the mid '70s.  Much closer to their American relatives than in the past, but still with a degree of their Canadian flavour, especially with its almost-zero option count.  We Canadians were so much more frugal than our friends to the south (and still are today, if you go by the car market!).
