2001 Chevy PU 1500 Brake problem

Bought this truck a while ago and when I bought it the front brakes were sticking so I went through it and put calipers , pads, and new hoses. It went good for a bit and then it started doing the same thing again.( It has ABS and 4 wheel discs ).The ABS light was on in the dash when I bought it.I checked the 40 amp fuse under the hood and it had been taken out.So I put a new one in it and the light went out and the brakes freed up.Then back to the same problem again. This time I unpluged the ABS wires going to the wheels.Nothing changed. This is where I am at now.Could it be the ABS Module ?

can you get it scanned and see  what codes are present?

You could have a bad wheel sensor on one of the front wheels?   The rear Is  built into the diff I believe. The wheel sensors pick up the pulses from the reluctor wheel built into the rotor assembly.  The sensor can be checked with a fluke meter on millivolts

, I think...

do some research.. I had a bad one on my 03 Avy...

ABS needs that info to process the brake control..
