Hello. I am new to Pontiac. I purchased a 1969 Parisienne convertible 3 weeks ago and took the until this week to give it some body work and new paint. Found out my wiper motor has a problem. Looked around for same year part. Had all sorts of crazy prices... $25-$500. Asked a fellow at custom speed shop about it. He told me a 1980 Impala has same part. Sure enough I looked at pics. And it seems to be the same wiper motor assembly.
I have a couple of questions. Is there other models and years with same part? The description of part says with or without delay or intermittent. I don't know which one I have. The rocker switch has off and two speeds with a push button washer in middle. Will either model work even though no intermittent switch or delay?
I know this is not the place to ask questions. Could someone guide me to the proper section?
Welcome here Captain J. Sounds like a great purchase, we will look forward to seeing it.
As far as your wiper motor, I don't think there was a delay opton in 69. I am quite sure there was only one type. I can't get you interchange info at the moment but I will be able to in the future if nobody else helps you sooner.
And I can move this question to the full size Pontiac technical section for you, no worries!

The replacement w/w motor is available at GM or AC Delco p/n 19153474 and it fits from 1968 to 1992 B A G bodies etc, the difference between the pulse or non pulse is the circuit board in the washer pump, I see you're from Canada but what part I don't know, if you get a used one it should be complete with pump, try and get a non pulse unit but if you get the pulse type it'll work, just no plug in for the pulse that's all.
