I believe 117 Beaumont Sd's received the stripe option in 1967 - this option would delete the quarter panel 'Sport Deluxe' emblems -- the stripe is a positive improvement to any 67 SD - If I own another someday it'll be getting the stripe
Also I have a photo of a blue with white stripe car when it was new in Hamilton, also know of a local original paint car that was ordered with the stripe
Much thanks Ken...truly a rare SD feature.
I even learned from you (last week, another post), the 1/4 panel chrome SD spears should be painted except for the front edge.
Also I agree - the stripe car Beaumont's have a desirable look...along with the BB hood, just a great exterior in Engineering design.
(now I don't have to continue my search & buy any Sport Deluxe emblems, only '67 trim I was missing)
I always thought the 1967 Chevelle with the L78 (396-375HP) dual stripe, had the very best look of the Super Sports.
The 1967 Beaumont didn't get the top L78 motor, but stripes were an option...I find this very neat.
BTW - the U15 optional Speed Warning Indicator is extremely rare for 1967..."like hens teeth", was told decades ago.

the quarter panel louvers are painted body color with the rear edge chrome
Kyle, beautiful car. As a kid growing up in the late 70's in Edmonton, there was a street one block away from my house with a gorgeous 67 Beau SD in the same color scheme as yours (no stripes), and oddly a 68 Charger a few houses further down with similar color red paint and a black vinyl roof! I've loved those two models ever since. Yours is one of the prettiest Beaumonts I've ever seen.
