62 versus 64 Questions

A fellow said yesterday that he wants to buy my rad support, maybe frame, wiring harness from under hood and dash and gas tank from my 62 Parisienne. Well, I asked him what car he had, and it's a 64 Pontiac. I woke up this morning thinking that it might be nice to get rid of some parts, but then it occurred to me that 64 is different. I'm not sure anything will fit.

The frame might fit, but may have to be modified. The wiring on 62 I believe has metal plug in dash lights, and doesn't 64 have twist-in by then? Under hood, the 62 has generator and likely 64 is alternator. Maybe the gas tank is the only thing that might fit. I asked about the rad support in a different thread, but so far it sounds different.

Can anyone shed light on any of these items?

My 64 Catalina had "metal" dash light sockets!! Wiring harness can be modified to run Alternator. Frame will likely work if both are Canadian cars???

Good point. I asked what model of car he was rebuilding and he replied "64 Pontiac". Leaves a lot unanswered.
