Rats, I was hoping you'd snagged it Kevin. Did he give any details about the buyer?
his wife was selling the car, he passed away. I asked if it had the original 427 engine it was built with and she did not know. She tracked down a friend of her late husband and he said the 427 was replaced with a 396. I asked for the vin number of the car so I could send it to George. It was at home and she was at work. Did not want to buy the car not knowing if it was a factory 427 car or a 4 speed car. She let me know it was sold later. She said she may have let it go for too reasonable of a price cause she had lots of phone calls. The new owner should surface soon.
Ok, now that I stopped crying, all is left to say is all the best cars are out west :'( Except that 69 2+2 big block, in a barn, that I have been watching for 30 years. Recently updated, it's still there :-/
