I bought another Pontiac today

It was a pretty messy, windy, wet day here today, so I can't post pictures of it because it got pretty dirty coming home. (Well, ok, maybe just a teaser pic!)

I can't say more until I get it looking presentable.

Just a bit too tired. Long day, round trip to Winnipeg with the car trailer (hauled a junker to the shredder on the way in), super windy day, I hate city traffic, bla bla bla........

Soon enough grasshoppa, soon enough!

Well, I was thinking a late '80's LeMans, or an early '90's Turbo Fly Ragtop but I'm gonna guess a Solstice...

Uh-huh.

Sorry, been out most of the day with numerous errands and projects. I did find time for a wash job and some pics though.

Although I'm not sold on the "new" car styling, everyone who has one tells me it will be one of the most enjoyable cars I will ever own, so I hope they are right.

361 horsepower, pretty darn good fuel economy, great handling and has to be one of the most comfortable cockpits I've ever sat in, I gotta say. The seats, headrest, controls etc all fit me just perfect, legroom is excellent for my tall wife and myself both.

Very cool Carl.  I don't know much about them, but the one of two people that I've met that had them loved them.

Best part of all, it's a Pontiac!

Well, AND I can justify it because it's a family car too...

Funny thing is, it's one of my favourite colours. (Can't be picky when you buy used) I've had a maroon on a 92 Roadmaster, 97 1/2 ton, 98 1/2 ton, 2009 Buick, 86 Cutlass, and likely more I'm forgetting.

I don't know much about them, but are they Australian Holden based?   Kind of an overgrown Australian GTO?

V8. I'm just learning these cars but as far as I know, all GT's are V8.

I checked out some ads in Ontario on Kijiji. I see they are cheaper there but honestly, after reading what you guys have to deal with on rust issues, I didn't care how cheap they are there, no way was I doing that.

Nice Carl! 361 hp you'll be able to make it to the cabin in no time. Is the dog a back seat driver or front?

He's never been in a vehicle yet except for his ride home. That will have to happen in the next couple of weeks when he goes for his sex change operation though!
