1964 Pontiac wagon

So my wife-to be, really wants a 64 strato-chief wagon!?!?! I found this and have essentially bought it over the phone. I leave shortly to secure the car. Hopefully it will be worth restoring and not future parts. She wants to have it as her daily driver for nice weather. Who am I to argue?

I am so excited to be able to give this to her.... merry Christmas Dear!

Your partner likes......... old cars and wants an......... old car. You are one lucky dude, i have never known a woman in my life that is into it. My present partner of eleven years, just barely tolerates it. If she had her way, i would not have any old cars, i would not go to any shows and cruises and i would not have any old car buddies. Consider your self very very very lucky. Actually........... i envy you. Good luck with the 64 wagon. Cheers. George.

I am very lucky... yes she does want this car for her. last night she was cruising the web looking at photo deciding how she wants it done up. She was my partner in overhauling the convertible engine project. We work so well and she is so into it. I normally don't get to drive the convertible as she drives it to shows. I get the impala... as she wont drive it more than around the block with the bias ply tires.

Very nice to hear that the significant other is interested and wants to participate in the hobby. My wife has no love or hatred of the car stuff and I am allowed to play in the shop regularly. I however do have to have my ""chores"" done before I am allowed to play.

This wagon looks great, so good luck with the restoration project. You really are lucky with the girlfriend liking old cars. By the way does she have a sister. LOL.

Right on. My wife likes old cars, but she doesn't want to drive them any more. The city is so crowded, it isn't really much fun. She drove a 63 Riv when I first met her about 35 years ago, and she drove 63-64 Rivs for years after we were married. Last one we sold about four years ago. Paint started pimpling up everywhere because we had it outside for the winter, under a tarp. She didn't want to spend the coin restoring it again. Bodywork has gone through the roof.

My first wife had my 70 GTO convertible written into the separation agreement twenty five years ago no. Luckily they're everywhere, and can be found dirt cheap..............right?
